History
A prophetic friend from church had requested an oil called "light." When another intercessor friend heard about it, she immediately smelled lemon. One day as Carol was making a batch of Glory Drops, she was carried away and continued adding some scents and the oil was born. Carol prayed with the intercessor about the name - they both knew "light" was on the right track, but wasn't quite it. When the Lord put "Radiant Light" into Carol spirit - it resonated with both of them.
Meaning
The Lord's heart is for His light to both shine on us and through us. 1 Thessalonians 5:5 says "Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day" and Psalm 89:15 says we are blessed when we walk "in the light of [His] countenance."
